Make a Donation to Seeds for Change

Thank you for considering making a donation to support our work. We're finding it increasingly difficult to find funding to continue our work - this means we rely heavily on donations to help us provide free and low cost support to community groups and campaigns.

If you like the work we do then please do consider donating to us.

You can send us a cheque or postal order, or set up a standing order to give us regular donations (doesn't matter how big or small - even small but regular donations can make a difference!

If I Donate Some Money How Will It Be Spent?

Money donated to the Seeds for Change Network is spent on the following:
Materials (flipchart paper, flipchart pens, developing and printing our briefings and info-sheets)
Travel Costs (travel to workshops is a major part of our budget!)
Office Costs (telephone and internet, office rent, insurance, website)
Staff Costs (we currently have two full time and two part time paid staff, plus volunteers)

Information about Standing Orders

What Is A Standing Order?

A standing order is an instruction you give to your bank or building society to make payments, usually on a regular basis, to a specified customer at another bank or building society in the UK.

Who Can Use Them?

Any person or company with a current account at a bank or building society can give a standing order instruction.

How Does The System Operate?

The bank or building society will, on the day specified in the Order, debit your account and transfer the money through the banking system to the bank or building society account of the recipient.

How Do I Stop My Standing Order?

Just let your bank know that you wish to stop paying the standing order.

How Do I Change My Standing Order (e.g. the amount paid or the dates they're paid on)?

You will have to give your bank or building society a new standing order instruction if you wish to change the amount or date, not forgetting to cancel the earlier instruction at the same time.

What Will I Be Charged For Setting Up A Standing Order?

Current account customers do not usually pay any transaction charges for standing orders, but if you have a business account your bank may charge - do check with your bank.
