About the Seeds for Change NetworkSeeds for Change is a non profit co-operative of social change trainers that support the work of campaigning organisations, co-ops and community enterprises by offering facilitation, training workshops and web-based resources. Our facilitators are campaigners themselves, with years of experience of campaigning on a wide spectrum of issues and within a variety of campaigning networks. We also all have a background in the co-operative movement, having founded and run workers' co-ops, housing co-ops and other community co-op initiatives. Between us we have over half a century of experience of designing and delivering empowering and effective training! We have delivered training to student campaign groups, to women's groups, to development education centres, NGOs, grassroots networks, local groups and national offices As a network committed to a radical ecological view of society we work to the highest ecological and social ethical standards. These take into account not just the ecological impact of our work, but the impact on poorer communities across the globe and on non-human animals. As a network, and the collectives within the network we are committed to our Ethical Policy
"The training with Seeds for Change was excellent. The session was prepared to a high standard, and was flexible to our specific training needs. The training itself was very well paced, and covered all training areas we required, whilst maintaining a relaxed feel so that participants did not feel hurried and could enjoy the day. "We were left with an array of skills that are directly relevant to our work, and a set of follow up resources from Seeds for Change that will be used for years to come. I look forward to engaging Seeds for Change for future training needs and workshop facilitation." - Alexis Anderson, Community Project Manager, Global Action Plan Seeds for Change: a non-profit activist training co-op |
